this doily piece was a piece based on replication so I chose to replicate something that was Singular, handmade that had a history.
I found the doily in an antique shop covered in small stains and imperfections. Despite making a mold of the doily no cast was the same, each step of the process was done by hand and these pieces will now start a new history and anew story.
