Cat Claw

Project The Filing Cabinet
Update 09/22/13

Okay everyone you guys finally get to see some of my new work where I have been turning studies of animal anatomy into a fine art drawing. This one is a study on the bone structure of a lion's paw.

I love big cats and I love how their bones are structured to create retractable claws. If you look closely you can see how similar their bones are to humans, which it totally cool ;) The colors were chosen do to a combination of things. 1) I don't like drawing on white paper, 2) I didn't have any black paper, and  3) I was inspired from some 60"s posters I saw in a black light room.
Hope you guys enjoy this

Ambrosia Lake

(This piece is also actually from a while back, but because I lacked the interwebs and haven't been able to teach Ambrosia Lake how to update...it's kind of been hiding in my email for a while...oops
