Cuckoo Clock update 7/9/13

It's been interesting recently. There have been a lot going on (including the celebration of Inky's BIRTHDAY!!!! Yay!!!!!) and all of us have been super busy.

I actually drew this all today (which usually never happens, since I usually pause a lot during drawings, and usually finish pieces within the span of a couple of days so I can leave it whenever I want), and I was (once again) trying some coloring techniques that I don't usually use. It turned out well, in my opinion, and it also helped me figure some drawing techniques out as well.

Third eye is one of those pieces that didn't really evolve from the the image I had in my mind too much. Normally, when I draw, the image in my mind never matches what comes out. Third eye has been the closest. Of course, there's a meaning behind the concept, which is not as peppy cheery as I wanted it to be, which also contributed to how this picture looks kind of dark.
