Because that happens a lot.... Cuckoo Clock gets bored a lot....
And the picture below is a great example...
Because I was bored...and was working on character design at that point in time, and so, the birth of this dragon monster (dragon monster: A term I stole from Princess :P ) |
So Ambrosia Lake, Well-Inked, Culturally and I signed up for these Technology courses (except now, only Ambrosia Lake and I go....AHEM....), and while they can be helpful, most of the time they end up being really boring since I know most of the stuff they teach already (I just go because it's a good review, and sometimes I pick up surprisingly useful details).
So during one of these classes, I got so bored that I decided Candy Crush would no longer suffice as a time filler, which made me open up photoshop and this happened.
I have to say though, it's pretty good for a drawing done completely by a mouse. That's right, no tablet (besides the signature, which happened after class).
So since I'm drawing near the end of my 3 weeks intensive summer course, I had to do a project and had no motivation to work... which caused this to happen.
I have to say, it's better than the original, since I fixed it up so it would be better than the original. But the thing is, I was actually supposed to find a image that showed the theory of Kosslyn's discriminability (or camouflage, are things dark or light enough to be seen), but since it's hard to find images like that, I just made my own (BOOYA, WHO SAID ART WASN'T USEFUL, HUH MOM!?!?!?!) The class liked it, and totally did not see the fish (hahaha, did you, until I mentioned it?) but they still don't know I drew it. Bwahahahahaha I feel evil.
Speaking of evil, I was looking at my old drawings from before, and found this drawing. Oh the memories!!!! I originally drew this as a birthday present to myself on my notebook, but decided to draw a digital version, so this happened.
I named her "Creepy," which I feel like is a very suiting name for her. I also used her as a character of a game that I programed for a computer science class my freshman year. GUESS WHO'S NOT DOING COMPUTER SCIENCE ANYMORE!!!?!?!?!?! You guessed right!
At one point in time, I was trying to draw realistically, and um yeah... it didn't really happen. Not my fav, not my fav...but it didn't end up being too weird...right? I like the light fuzz though, had so much fun playing with it.
And just for shoots and giggles, here's something I have was working on back in the days (freshman year high school......uhhhhh) when I still had the patience for illustrator work (so many shapes...so many layers....so much feathering....so long in rendering......uuuuuggghhhhhh).....
It's based off of a scene in 2ne1's "It Hurt" which I will link Here:
I really like the style of this video, thus why I was going to do a whole piece, but I went crazy with Sandara's hair, which meant my Illustrator stopped rendering at one point in time, and basically destroyed my file. Eh can only start where my file was last saved on a separate file, which meant basically starting over...Still haven't gotten to that.
Well then...that's it for now I guess...Until I get bored...again.
