Halfway Home

Project Ringtone Bonanza
Culturally Update 06/26/13

Originally, I was going to do this piece on a tablet...but since my tablet has KO'd on me recently...I've had to do it via...real paint and brushes~!
To be honest, I'm really happy with how it turned out! It's been a while since I've done a hands-on painting.

Lately, Cuckoo, Inky and I have been painting our friend's cardboard sculpture (we'll post more on it later)! But basically, our friend gave us his permission to paint this huge life-size cardboard version of spray paint can, and we've been putting stuff all over it...though it's been mostly characters like Studio Ghibli and Sanrio peeps. It's good fun though! More about this painting though...it took me maybe 4ish hours to do on and off.  I had so much fun splattering the stars on, it's on of my favorite things to do. Cuckoo lent me this beautiful vanilla color I used to make the milky way type thing on the right side.

The main focus of this piece though is that little silhouette sitting on the grass in the bottom right. There is some spiritual meaning behind this piece as well but I won't get into it really ^-^ Teehee.

Anyway, have a great rest of the week and see you on Friday!

Love,
Culturally
