Special: Ambrosia Lake Guest Art pt2

So, continuing off of our guest artist week, here are some more works of Ambrosia Lake (there are two pieces featured here, so make sure to click the "Read More" :D):

Pen and Ink:
Ok so this is a really old piece from high school done in pen and ink. It was part of a self portrait...
...assignment where we had to include patterning. Also if you are wondering this really doesn’t look like me, I am not very good at drawing likenesses of people. :(

Anyway, hope you guys all like this, and keep reading the blog.

This piece was part of an art assignment where we had to chose one element to focus on, I chose light. This is done in black and white charcoal on Gray card-stock. This is actually my favourite way of drawing with charcoal. It took a little over 6 hours to complete. I was really challenging to draw because the only light source was the lamp in the picture and I was at least two meters away from it, but it turned out all right in the end.

Hope you all like it.

Hope you enjoyed! And look forward to part three on Friday!
